We all want the perfect big hair. Like when you step out of the salon. When we do it ourselves, It can look alittle flat. Here are my tips on making your hair salon perfect.
1: Wash & Condition your hair. My personal favorite is Loma Daily Shampoo & Conditioner. It smells like Tangerine, Orange, and Grapefruit.
2: Towel dry your hair
3: Apply 1 Pump (or 2 :/) pump of the Loma Volumizing Foam into damp hair evenly from roots to end. I would focus more on the roots and the crown on your head. This foam will give you a boost without weighing down your hair.
4: Use 1 pump of Loma Calming Creme. This will calm down your frizz, especially in humid weather. This product also makes an amazing hand & body lotion as well.
5: Blow dry on medium heat and medium power. Finger brush it up in a diagonal upwards motion. This will prevent your hair to not look boxy. Blow dry you hair up to 75% dry.
6: Use a round brush to smooth the hair. If your hair still looks kind of frizzy, blow dry it even longer. I would suggest medium power, high heat. More tension is key for an smooth blowout. Focus on the roots by over directing the hair in a upper diagonal motion to prevent a boxy look.
7: Black combing is optional as well. Back comb diagonal upwards on the sides and horizontal on the upper back of your head and smooth the hair out without taking the back combing out.
8: Finish up with Loma Finishing Hairspray. It will Give you a medium hold and high shine. It will also dry fast and is humidity resistant. The best part is that it smells like melon. If you want a stronger hold in hairspray try Loma Firm Hold Hairspray.
